Wore a dress today. Frightening how many high pitched squeals were directed at me. The "oohs" and "ahhs" make me uncomfortable.

I have been feeling like "just a hat" lately. So far this is not as good a year as I thought it would be and there aren't any signs for improvement. If anything I may start feeling even worse. So I'm terribly sorry to anyone who follows me for the lack of updates. Maybe in a couple of days I'll get motivated or inspired or find something old to upload.

Benchmark essays suck. The fact that I'm no great writer doesn't help but they could at least get some decent topics. One topic was literally on weather or not to listen to common sense. The one today was about making people work hard or giving them easy tasks as a goal to work for.

I can't believe I'm going to be 18 in about eight months. I never wanted to grow up; yet all the kids who did got their wish. Why not me? I just can't see myself as a good adult, I don't work hard enough. I see no point in a lot of this and it annoys me at how worked up others get when I tell them so.

I really hope things are going great for everyone. Most of my friends seem happy and for now that's all I need I suppose.
